Long Distance Sailing

Velvet Elvis is back in Louisiana, after a three-week friends and family trip across the Gulf of Mexico.  We hugged the coast, avioding the worst of Tropical Storm Colin, then crossed South to Key West.  After picking up a few more guests, we crossed the Forida Straight to visit Hanvana, Cuba. First Official Charter

We are officially chartering now! We had a great day on the lake Sunday cruising out to the Rigolets and Fort Pike with Governor Kathleen Blanco and her family, along with the lucky auction winners from an event benefiting The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  We're super proud that this wonderful day raised $3000 for them. …
